YOUR ROLE

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the entire procurement process. A very dynamic job with a lot of variety!

What does your day look like?

• You buy parts that are used for repairing the ships; You do this on the basis of fixed purchasing processes, but you also search for the right products through other channels

• Selling is also part of it; Sometimes the products are resold directly to the customer

• You call suppliers, both in Dutch and in English

• You negotiate to obtain the best price and the best conditions

• You will work closely with other services within EDR to bring all projects to a successful conclusion

Of course, you do all this taking into account the planning and delivery times. The ships must always be finished by a certain deadline. So it's your job to make sure the products are available on time.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a strong affinity with technology, either from experience or from a relevant study

• Are you someone who has done installations yourself? That's definitely a big plus!

• Negotiating does not scare you

• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English

• It goes without saying that you are a team player and you have the necessary commercial flair

• You can work smoothly and accurately with Office 365

• Experience in the maritime world is a plus
