EDR Antwerp Shipyard is the largest shipyard in Belgium, specialised in ship maintenance and repairs, hull treatment and marine construction. Challenging activities require skilful and motivated team members. Over 150 vessels annually are repaired and maintained at our shipyard in Antwerp, and projects are performed on board vessels across the world.

• Issue outgoing customer invoices accurately and within agreed timelines.

• Review, validate and process incoming supplier invoices via the invoice approval platform.

• Match supplier invoices with purchase orders, delivery notes and project information.

• Follow up with project managers to resolve missing or inconsistent PO, delivery or project data.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including supplier queries, customer balance follow up and invoice disputes.

• Prepare, file and submit Belgian VAT returns in line with statutory requirements.

• Prepare payment proposals and cash flow input for approval by authorised signatories.

• Manage supplier payment reminders professionally while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

• Support month end and year end closing activities, including reconciliations, accrual support, AP and AR cut off, audit support and annual accounts documentation.

• Contribute to improving invoice workflows, ERP data quality and finance process controls.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or economics, or equivalent experience.

• Professional communication skills in Dutch and English.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting or finance operations experience in Belgium.

• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP and Belgian accounting standards.

• Proven hands on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer invoicing, Belgian VAT and supplier invoice processing.

• Experience with Exact Online and invoice approval workflows.

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; experience with Power BI or Microsoft Power Platform is an advantage.

• Accurate, structured and control minded, with the ability to work independently.

• Comfortable working in a practical, operational and project driven environment.
